Winter is a season for cultivating growth, rest, and inner peace. On the longest night of the year, we gather to reflect on what has passed, honor the wisdom of darkness, and set intentions for what we wish to bring forth in the year ahead. Together, we celebrate the festival of Rebirth, Transformation, Creativity, and New Beginnings—nourishing body, spirit, and heart with sacred practices and ritual.

The Spirit of Cacao
Cacao is more than chocolate—it is a sacred plant ally, a spiritual intelligence that speaks not to the mind, but to the heart, intuition, and felt sense. The Cacao Spirit awakens the inner fire, helping to gently burn away old, dense energies and open space for clarity, connection, and renewal.

Breathwork Facilitation Healing

Power Yoga Canada Niagara   Every 1st Friday of the Month   6:30 - 8:30pm

Within this journey you will experience a dynamic conscious circular breath designed to activate flight or fight response allowing you the opportunity to challenge yourself and release stuck emotions and unresolved trauma. This active breath consists of 2 breaths into your belly (80%), your chest (20%) and then out your mouth. Why do we breathe? We breathe to increase space and unravel congestion and stickiness.

 

In the session, you will lie down and if you would like you may place a blanket under your head and a bolster under your knees for comfort.

The lights will be dim and there will be music played loudly, I usually play ambient and lyrical music. I will guide you through this breathing technique for approximately 30 minutes, and together as a group we will scream loudly, followed by a 20 minute grounding meditation and journal work.

 

As this is a mind, body and emotional breathing technique, during your session you may experience sensations in your body such as tingling, numbness, dry mouth, tetany, temperature changes and pain. If any of these sensations become too great, you may stop the open mouth breathing, slow it down and come back to your regular breathing. Know that you are safe to feel any emotions and or sensations that arise.

 

Come with an open mind and leave with an open heart.

Woman's Blessing

Woman’s Blessing draws upon the rich traditions of many cultures and heritages. Initially inspired by the earth based Navajo traditions, our rituals are not intended to represent, nor be a re-enactment of a sacred Navajo Blessing way ceremony.

Mother Blessings create a safe and sacred environment offering women the opportunity to come together in a spiritual setting & celebrate a new mother rising. The intention of a Blessing Way is to share in a sacred time of reflection, support and celebration that honors mama-to-be and create a circle of support that will cradle her as she prepares to give birth and aid her in her journey into mothering her babe.

A Blessing Way can be done in place of or in addition to a “Baby Shower”.
